MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH NIGHT
Mar

7:00 PM19:00

MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH NIGHT

MEN’S COMMUNITY EVENT: BUILDING FRIENDSHIP, BROTHERHOOD, AND THE WORK AHEAD OF MEN IN 2025 AND BEYOND. LEARN ABOUT THE ROOTS OF THE MALE LONELINESS EPIDEMIC, STIGMAS ASSOCIATED WITH MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH, AND BUILD SUPPORTIVE CONNECTION WITH OTHER MEN.

Featured Speakers:
Johnny Cole, Founder of Hey Brother Co.
Eugene Sopher JR. aka “Big Bear”

Why a men’s community event?
Men and boys are facing a crossroads in 2025. From rising mental health challenges and record-high su1c*de rates to an epidemic of loneliness, the need for connection has never been more urgent. Many men feel isolated, trapped by societal pressures to "man up," and disconnected from spaces where they can be fully seen, heard, and supported. This event is a call to action—a chance to redefine masculinity, build meaningful connections, and create a brotherhood that lifts everyone. Together, we can confront the stigma surrounding men’s mental health, break free from harmful stereotypes, and pave the way for a future where vulnerability is a strength, and asking for help is a brave step toward healing.

Join us to be part of the change. Let’s turn isolation into connection, struggles into shared stories, and pressures into purpose. Because no man should ever feel like he’s facing life alone.

------

About the speakers:

Johnny Cole - MEN’S WORK LEADER AND CONSULTANT

Johnny Cole is the leader behind Hey Brother Co., a Cleveland-based organization redefining masculinity and fostering growth, healing, and community among men and boys. As a passionate advocate for emotional well-being, Johnny leads with vulnerability, encouraging men to break free from the constraints of traditional gender roles. With years of experience guiding workshops and men's groups, Johnny has created spaces where men & boys can connect authentically and support one another in becoming their best selves. Johnny’s work is driven by a deep belief in the power of brotherhood to heal, empower, and uplift—not just men but the communities they touch. His engaging presence, relatable insights, and humor make him a dynamic leader, helping men navigate modern masculinity with compassion and courage.

--

Big Bear - CARTOONIST, VIOLENCE PREVENTION ACTIVIST, AND MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE

Born and raised in Cleveland, Eugene Sopher Jr., better known as "BIG BEAR," is a cartoonist, violence prevention activist, and mental health advocate. From an early age, Eugene’s love for humor and art shone through as he created funny, heartfelt illustrations that captivated family and friends. Today, he channels those talents into meaningful work, using art and storytelling to raise awareness about mental health and educate young people on violence prevention. Eugene’s unique ability to blend humor, creativity, and advocacy has made him a beloved figure in his community. Through his cartoons and outreach, he invites others to embrace vulnerability, explore emotional health, and take steps toward creating a safer, more compassionate world. Eugene’s infectious energy and inspiring message will leave you feeling empowered to care—for yourself and those around you.
